Context + Challenge

Confluent’s Growth Kickoff brings together global sales and marketing teams to align on strategy and direction for the year ahead. Building on the previous year’s foundation, the challenge was to evolve the identity into a more dynamic, high-impact system—reflecting Confluent’s partnership with Visa Cash App Racing Bulls while scaling across digital, physical, and on-site environments.

Approach

The identity was developed at the intersection of Confluent’s brand system and the visual language of Visa Cash App Racing Bulls—balancing inspiration with clear differentiation. Drawing from the Racing Bulls aesthetic, the system introduced a more dynamic, performance-driven visual language through typography, color, and form—while maintaining alignment with Confluent’s core brand principles. A structured color system was used to define zones across the venue, enabling intuitive wayfinding while reinforcing visual consistency across touchpoints. Working closely with agency partners, the direction required careful stewardship to ensure the experience reflected the precision and sophistication of Formula 1—avoiding more generic motorsport references and reinforcing a cohesive, elevated system across environments.

Execution

The system was applied across a wide range of touchpoints, including environmental graphics, registration, signage, keynote visuals, and digital assets. From large-scale installations to detailed brand moments, each element reinforced the broader system—creating a cohesive, high-impact experience across the event. Collaboration with agency partners ensured consistent execution while maintaining a high level of craft across environments.

Outcome

The result was a cohesive, high-energy event identity that elevated the Growth Kickoff experience—successfully translating a Formula 1–inspired concept into a scalable, multi-channel system.
